My wife couldn't be happier with these lightweight, merino wool socks. She said she can't believe what she has been missing. So comfortable and warm for those chilling morning walks!
The best thing about these is that the tie seam is not insanely think and long. Tie seams on most socks rub the largest and smallest toes on the outside and thick seams rub the entire length of the tops of toes. These only mildly do that, especially in shoes with a narrow toe box and/or too great a slope. I wish these came in a crew height, as I don’t like knee highs. These are not insanely thin and not so thick as to not fit in normal shoes/boots. Not overly hot indoors. No stink - yay merino. No heel bunching. They do get a little fuzzy after several months, but I wash all clothes that touch my skin after I wear them.
I bought these for work after testing and loving the Campfires for hiking. I work in a manufacturing setting. These are perfect. Super soft and comfy and keep my feet warm on cool days.
I wore these for the first time yesterday for a short hike and then for an evening campfire. They are so comfy and soft, kept my feet dry from sweating and seemed to keep mosquitoes away in the evening. I will wear these wool socks when I paddle in a 3 day 90 mile canoe event in a couple weeks too. The weight is perfect for water shoes and the wool will keep my feet comfy even when wet. I also like the look of the striped ones.
These socks are my favorite. They are comfortable, good supportive fit- stays in place all day. Great for hiking or outdoor activities- your foot stays dry. I own a weeks worth of socks from bear feet socks! Love them, plus these are cute!
